About
I have been to this store two years ago and the staff back then were very friendly and helped me with their collection and my needs. I have been here today to get a lehenga for my sister but was very disappointed with the collection and staff's attitude. One member literally rolled her ehes towards us. We went to another Indian store and purchased what we wanted in 20 mins. Customers will buy stuff when they are treated with respect. Will never go back.
I shopped at Colors of Redmond for a sari to wear to a wedding in India. The clothes are beautiful and there was a great selection. Sravya was so helpful and custom stitched the blouse for me. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this store.
My spouse and I were able to find our wedding outfit 3 days before our ceremony thanks to Colors of Redmond! They were very kind and worked quickly in coordinating tailoring of our outfits. 10/10 would recommend!
We had a wonderful experience this afternoon buying our Indian formal wear for my wife Lisa’s cousin’s SF wedding coming up next month. These are unique original designs, and really quite a good value for the quality we are getting . We were given special attention by the wonderful sales person Prachi! It will be so fun at the cousins wedding to wear much more exciting clothes than the usual “western formal wear”!

I purchased a beautiful lehenga from this store and initially had a positive experience. However, issues arose when I used their in-store alteration service. Notably, alterations can only be paid for via cash or PayPal, unlike dress purchases which allow credit card.
The blouse was altered so small that I couldn’t put it on. When I requested a correction, the manager said it would cost an additional $40, payable by cash or PayPal.
I was told the original seamstress had returned to India and, because the work was considered “complete,” a refund wasn’t possible. The manager maintained that the blouse fit perfectly and that the issue was simply that my shoulders couldn’t fit through the opening.
After some back and forth, they eventually agreed to re-alter it for $30, stating they couldn’t go any lower. I ultimately brought it to my regular seamstress, who identified multiple issues with the original alterations.
