Samantha and her team did my bridal hair and makeup in June 2017 (in peak GA heat and humidity) and I couldn't have had a better experience. She was professional, on time, and made the entire bridal party feel SO beautiful for my special day. I have recommended her to many of my friends and family, all of which have had amazing experiences with her. I have used her other times for hair and makeup, including spoiling my sister in law the day of her bachelorette party. She has always exceeded expectations both with her work and her professionalism.

I had the pleasure of working with Samantha for my makeup trial, and from the moment I left, I felt like a whole new person. I didn't know how to act, I felt so beautiful! Little did I know, this was just the beginning....

For my wedding day, both Samantha and Mandi took care of my bridal party's hair and makeup. Their professionalism, clear communication, and spot-on recommendations based on our inspiration pictures truly stood out. I had expressed my concern about sweating a lot and wanting makeup and hair that would last the entire night. Samantha reassured me, and let me tell you, she was not kidding!!!!! she delivered beyond my expectations!

Putting all my trust in Samantha was the best decision. I felt like an absolute princess, and the moment I saw myself in the mirror, I couldn't believe it was me. As for my bridal party, Mandi and Samantha worked their magic, and everyone looked stunning. I couldn't stop staring at them, in awe of the beauty they had created.

Samantha and Mandi were not just talented professionals...they were reliable, accommodating, and their positive energy added so much to the experience. I loved every moment of working with them and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I will start by saying I am floored by the bridal makeup experience we had with Samantha and her team. Being part of several bridal parties in Miami, she by far exceeded all of them, as it was the most professional, yet stress free experience we have ever had. This wedding required her to set up in 2 separate venues on the wedding day due to timing, and she obliged with a smile. She timed the makeup and hair for all 7 of us in the bridal party perfectly and even had time to spare to work on our mom's hair as a "just because she wanted her to look great too."

We all had separate inspo pictures for hair style we desired and none were easy to do. She not only gave us exactly what we wanted, but it also lasted the WHOLE DAY AND NIGHT! That is something completely foreign to us given we have such thick and long hair. Her assistant was just as amazing and detailed with our makeup. We are heavy sweaters as well and this makeup lasted through it all and did not feel heavy at all. Samantha and her team tailored to our desired style and made us all look like and feel like royalty. I was even shocked that none of us had to reapply lipstick!

Lastly, I will say that being the sister of the bride and the maid of honor, having Samantha work with us felt like she was one of us for those crucial hours before the vows. I cant imagine being in a room that long with strangers and it feeling completely normal. She gave us ease and was kept us grounded and for that I will never be able to repay her and her team. We are so blessed to have had someone like her on our side on this big day!

I had a thoroughly disappointing experience with Samantha and her team on my wedding day. While my bridesmaids hired Samantha for their hair and makeup, I personally hired her for my hair. From the outset, there were red flags during our consultation with Samantha's assistant. She claimed it would take just an hour for Samantha to do both hair and makeup for each bridesmaid, and they quoted me $200 for "Hollywood waves." When I expressed concern about the timeline, the assistant actually laughed at me, which was incredibly unprofessional.

On the day of the wedding, Samantha and her assistant arrived, and Samantha's assistant curled my hair and insisted on letting my hair "cool down" for an hour. I was patient, but after two hours, I inquired about starting my hair. To my surprise, Samantha said she couldn't work on my hair until my makeup artist finished my makeup. This lack of coordination was baffling.

When it was finally time for my hair, Samantha spent a mere five minutes on it; and as a result my hair fell apart almost immediately. Samantha's attempt to fix it involved excessive hairspray, leaving my hair feeling like a broom. I should note that I style my hair daily and it's usually easy to work with please see photos below.

To all future brides, I urge you to learn from my mistake and avoid booking Samantha and her team. They make false promises about timeframes, run behind schedule, and rush through their work. My biggest regret was hiring them, and I attach photos of my wedding hair compared to how it typically looks. It's disheartening that my wedding day featured the worst hair day ever, and I'm relieved I didn't trust them with my makeup as well. I wish I could rate them 0 stars.

During my initial conversation, I explained to your assistant that my makeup artist would require two hours for my makeup. To my surprise, she laughed and insisted that you could handle both hair and makeup in just an hour minutes. As the bride, I specifically requested at least an hour for my hair, given the $200 I paid for your personal hairstyling service.

However, on the wedding day, you repeatedly stated that it would only take five minutes to style my hair. This was quite unexpected, as I had paid for an hour of your service, not just five minutes.

Addressing the comment about my hair being "soaking wet," I had showered the night before, and my hair was not even wet! maybe it was a little damp but definitely NOT WET!! Also, my makeup artist DID NOT USE OIL on my body – it was powder foundation that she applied!

In addition, There were also delays in completing my bridesmaids' makeup, which added stress to the day. lastly, YOU arrived 32 minutes late because you were applying extensions for another bride who had her wedding a week after mine and that is why you brought your assistant with you. We have all the text messages!!

Rather than placing blame, it would be more constructive to identify what went wrong and take responsibility for those areas.

I hired the Gunn Glamour team for three of my wedding events and absolutely loved working with them! Samantha and Mandi were so fun to have in the bridal suite and worked diligently to get all of us ready on time. They make a great team and it showed with the results!! Absolutely loved our hair and makeup. Samantha can range from natural to dramatic looks. I had a vague idea of what I wanted going in, so Samantha talked through options and gave amazing advice. LOVED her bridal pony!!! I highly recommend Gunn Glamour
