I have worked with Irene since my wedding and have since been back to see her for newborn photos and 1 year old cake smash photos! Will continue to come back for all our family photos and milestones.

Irene is amazing! The whole process to book, prepare, find the studio, change clothes, sit for a headshot session, review photos, and accept the digital files is seamless. I generally don’t enjoy getting my picture taken, but I was past due for headshots. (7+ years) Irene gives great direction, has a fun approach to getting you to have the desired expression in your photos, and it all was over before I knew it. I highly recommend IJ photo for your professional and personal photography needs. I’ll definitely be back (hopefully sooner than 7 years).

We got married last summer and hired Irene but our experience with her was not as good as we hoped it to be. Having a photographer is great but it's nice having short video clips of the very precious moments such as the "I now pronounce you... you may kiss the bride". So we relied on friends of family to do so. Well it was very unfortunate that Irene was much more intrusive than she should have. At the moment described she stepped right in front between us and family blocking the view from closest family members. Why couldn't she have crouched down In between aisles, maybe using a zoom??? We had plenty of time for all of our pre-ceremonial photos, but she drug us away again away from a very important part of the post ceremonial cocktail hour. I would liked to have more photos of family and friends at this time, that couldn't make it to our reception. She was extremely strict on her timing so we felt rushed from one thing to the other. I would like to give her advice to be a bit more open on natural flow as well as at-least slightly flexible on timing. I shared a snapshot of the video clip that I wish I had without her image in it. I sincerely hope she takes this as productive criticism. Honestly in hindsight I would not have hired her, but never the less- this did not ruin our wedding... But she could definitely improve her ability to be more genuine and thoughtful. . It felt like she was just after her own agenda to improve her portfolio.

I can't thank Irene enough for the work she did capturing our wedding day. Her enthusiasm while staying professional impressed me the most. She made us feel comfortable and at ease when we were camera shy. We are so obsessed with how the photos turned out. Irene is an expert at capturing the little details.

Her response time is quick, we received the photos in a timely manner and received our additional orders so quickly! Also love that she has so many options for wedding books and print outs. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer! Not only is Irene an amazing photographer, but she is a very patient, caring, and understanding person. Every step of the way, Irene did exactly what we needed without us asking. Before the wedding: * We found Irene’s booth at the Seattle Wedding Show, drawn in by her beautiful setup and photo books. We provided her with our contact info and ultimately setup a meeting to talk more at a coffee shop. During this initial meeting, she answered all our questions, showed us more samples of her work, and talked through pricing details. *1 month prior to the wedding, we met with Irene at the venue, talked through the shot list + timeline, and identified the best location for different photos.

Day of wedding: *Irene arrived on time and quickly went to work capturing detail photos, making sure to stay out of the way. I was running behind in getting ready, but Irene adjusted seamlessly to keep all photos on track. She was more than a photographer, helping untangle my necklace and the groom put his boutonniere on. *Irene facilitated our first look beautifully, then proceeded to take photos of the two of us for the next hour. She respectfully kicked my mom out (who was distracting) and made the process fun. *She was very efficient & hard working, utilizing every minute she had to capture more photos. She worked in tandem with our DJ to make sure schedules aligned throughout the evening.

After the wedding: *Within a week, Irene had prepared our first look. A few weeks after that, she had prepared an initial collection of ~30 photos from the day. *About 1 month after the wedding, she had finished our full collection of photos and we scheduled a time to come to her house to view the photos. *Due to an error on my part, we showed up at Irene’s house on the wrong day. Regardless, she welcomed us in and spent the next 2 hours showing us the photos and helping us build our photo book. I felt like a fool but was so grateful that she was able and willing to accommodate us.
