Deepa has the magnanimity to take every level of student under her wing, with one condition: the student needs to have the desire to learn and master the dance form. Deepa is an accomplished, graceful dancer, creative director, choreographer, designer, and community builder. She moved to the area during the pandemic and energized a dedicated group of Kathak dancers. The annual dance program put together last Sunday was a true testimony of this. The repertoire of dances she put together, the organization and execution with thoughtful planning, were inspiring for the participants and entertaining for the audience.
