Super cute (small, 2 seats indoors) chai shop. They have masala chai, among others, Indian coffee, tons of breakfast specials, samosas, and overall great warmth. Free wifi too. Vegan options.

Decaf chai with oat milk unsweetened was flavorful (I don’t like sugar) Samosas, needed at least two for myself - liked the flavor of the filling, and crisp of the pastry

Cardamom iced latte was divine!! (It comes all the way filled, i had already had some) chai was excellent! They had oat milk which is perfect. Perfect for a stroll in East village

As someone from Assam, I can say their chai is among the best you'll find in the US. They clearly know what they're doing! The samosa, however, felt a bit lacking in flavor, perhaps adapted to suit the local palate.

So my husband knows how much I’m in love with Chai tea. I’ve been craving and since he works in the city decided to stop by and bring me home a tea TO JERSEY lol! I take a sip and FELL FOR THIS AMAZING TEA! Last week he made it his business to order me a Kolkata chai tea kit with a strainer and a mug. Received it today and immediately put into action! Amazing tea! Would definitely purchase again! And I can continue drinking it (in small amounts during my newly just discovered and very awaited pregnancy!) THANK YOU Ayan and Ani Sanyal💕
