I took virtual group dance lessons with Ruchi at Mokshaa Dance Academy for a special surprise dance routine for my best friend’s wedding. As somebody who is not South Asian and has no rhythm, I was really nervous going into this process. Luckily, Ruchi is SUCH an incredible teacher and broke down all of the moves in really digestible ways. She choreographed four dances for our group and led us through the process of learning each of the steps, adjusting things as needed for our skill level. The dance ended up being a huge success and we all had such a great time learning and performing!!

Once again, Ruchi and the Mokshaa team came through for us with an amazing group dance for my sister’s wedding! The private lessons package is excellent and we were so thrilled with the end result. After working with Ruchi a couple years ago to choreograph a dance, she was my first call when it came time to plan this one. She coordinated online classes for our large group (joining from across the country and around the world), made us the perfect song mix, and was responsive and supportive throughout. We had a blast and the bride and groom loved our surprise. Thanks Ruchi!

Mokshaa team did an amazing job in helping my kid to dance from a beginner to a more matured dancer with disciplined approach. Mokshaa does conduct stage programs so organized and my kid is very enthusiastic in participating those events. I highly recommend anyone who would be interested in learning Bollywood dance Mokshaa is the place. Thanks Mokshaa and team for all that you do.

Our 10 year old daughter loves dancing at Mokshaa Dance Academy! She has been participating for the past two years at the Collegeville location and enjoyed each session with her dance mates and instructors!!! We can’t wait for 2024-25 season!!

My daughters started taking Bollywood dance classes with Mokshaa back in September 2019 when they were 3 and 5 years old, and it has been such a wonderful experience for them and for our family. All of my children love the music selections and have a great time learning the choreography (big brother often picks up the steps as well!). The teachers and assistants are super energetic and kind, and there is a wonderful sense of community among the families who participate. I am always on the lookout for ways to keep my kids in touch with their Indian heritage, especially as we are a mixed family, and Mokshaa is the perfect way to accomplish this. My girls were so excited to be able to take the stage and participate in a large show for India Republic Day back in January 2020. When COVID-19 hit, Mokshaa adapted expertly and began offering classes on Zoom, which my daughters have continued to enjoy and have been able to learn just as well via the virtual platform as in person. We also record performance videos at home for submission to Mokshaa, which encourages the girls to fine tune the choreography and also gives them a chance to dress up as if participating in an actual show. Out of all of the activities my three children are involved in, Mokshaa has maintained the most continuity during these strange, uncertain times. We are looking forward to returning to in-person classes and performances soon!
