Robin did an amazing job capturing the magic of our wedding day. I had a serious health issue 2 days before out wedding which impacted my ability to go to the planned shooting locations. Robin was flexible and able to adapt last minute and capture beautiful photos without the need to travel to different locations. He was very friendly and easy to work with. Also, he was very energetic and I kept seeing him all over trying to get better angles. My husband and I were very impressed with his dedication to getting the perfect shot. We also got our photos ahead of schedule which was a nice surprise!

Absolutely amazing experience with NWlifeshots! From start to finish, he was professional, attentive, and incredibly talented. The photos turned out stunning – capturing every special moment beautifully. Not only he was skilled, but also very personable, making the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed. Every picture tells a story. Highly recommend them.

Robin is an incredibly talented photographer with a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to capture stunning moments. Their professionalism, creativity, and passion for photography shine through in every shot. I had a wonderful experience with Robin for my Gender Reveal, my house warming party and recently on my son’s 4th Birthday.

Robin is an absolutely wonderful photographer! We knew immediately we wanted him to photograph both of our engagement photos and wedding photos, and we are so glad we hired him. He is responsive to online communication and friendly to chat with throughout the photoshoot. He has many years of experience and truly tailors the photos to match what you envision for your wedding. He helped us so much and we would recommend his services to everyone! Thank you Robin!

I do not recommend NW Lifeshots under any circumstances. The lead photographer (Robin) is not a full-time professional photographer, the “second photographer” we paid extra for is his wife, who has even less professional experience, and the results show in extremely poor-quality wedding images. The saga started with engagement photos, for which my (now) husband and I traveled to a location of Robin’s choice and hung out until sunset only for Robin to discover he didn’t have the battery for his camera. (We live in a remote area so it meant an entire afternoon/evening of wasted time and 3 hours of travel for us.) He took a few snaps with his iPhone but we should have taken that as a warning about the lack of professionalism. We still had high hopes because he and his wife did the right by traveling to a location near us to re-do the engagement session. Seemed fair enough for a bad situation. But during that shoot he relied weirdly on showing us an app with different clichéd poses and asking us to imitate them. At that point we started to worry, but we’d signed a contract and the engagement photos turned out reasonably well. Fast-forward to the wedding and getting the photos and video afterward and we discovered SO many things went wrong. First of all, we had not even received the photos and Robin had the nerve to add a tip for himself to our invoice without us asking us to do so. He claimed he did that to save us the trouble of two invoices. File transfer was a nightmare and a lot of the video files were corrupted. When we did get the files, we discovered the video we paid extra for had stopped working mid-way through our ceremony. We don’t even have all our vows on video much less anything that followed. Robin didn’t flag this for us and then, when we contacted him about it, he argued the failure was beyond his control due to “extreme heat” but that is simply not true. The high temperature during our ceremony was only 62 degrees—there’s a weather station a few yards from our ceremony venue and we have the archived data—and, for someone who shoots outdoor weddings, the equipment should be shielded and capable of handling heat. Eventually we were refunded the extra video charge but it was a battle to get there. A great number of the photos themselves were extremely unprofessional. Robin claimed to have spent hundreds of hours editing but there is no way that is true…even in the “curated” photo set he sent called “Robin’s favorites” lots of shots showed camera movement, ill-focus, etc., weird skin tones even in outdoor shots, and the set included outtakes like a couple of guests chewing mouthful of food. And, another after-the-fact discovery, instead of focusing on the provided shot list while my husband and were otherwise occupied early in the day, Robin wasted a bunch of time taking nonsensical “still-life” photos we didn’t want. For example, without asking any questions he went into a back room where clothes were and spent time taking soft-focused shots of my wedding dress combined with a pair of shoes that had nothing to do with what I was going to wear. Overall we ended up with a lot of hassle maybe a few dozen decent photos overall. Run the other way as fast as you can.
