About
Nothing special About this place.
Good taste and quality is average. Went for a weekday buffet.
Menu wasn’t interesting at all. Same age old tandoori chicken, decade old butter chicken. Really in 2025 this is the menu in the Indian restaurant. Shyyy.
These days Indian restaurants are bringing lot if innovative dishes and menu options here comes a restaurant still believe that Tandoori chicken and butter chicken are the best ever dishes.
Food taste is also not very impressive. Only positive was the Jilebi. That’s awesome. That only was good.
Service wasn’t great either. I saw so many crew yet they weren’t refilling the dishes.
Not worth a try.
On a recent trip to Michigan visiting family decided to have dinner at Punjab Indian Cuisine. The restaurant is quite spacious, seems set up for large gatherings. On arrival found the place busy, which is a good sign . The aroma of the food was excellent. Got to our table, servers were quite friendly, smiling and knowledgeable about the food & menu. We ordered several appetizers- Seek kebab, Chinese Hakka fried noodles, paneer tikka - each was cooked well, tasteful and the accompaniments were great - papadums, variety of chutneys. For the mains - Butter chicken, Dal Makhani, chicken biryani, bread basket and malai kofta. All dishes were well prepared, delicious and the breads were on point , coming from the tandoor !
What started out as a trial run on DoorDash turned into one of my favorite restaurants. The food is beautiful, colorful, flavorful, and always hot and fresh (even when it’s been delivered). I’ve tried many things from the menu, but so far, my favorite is the boneless tandoori chicken thighs (pictured). I have yet to even dine in the restaurant, but I’m sure that I will be just as pleased.
Punjab is an absolute gem for Indian cuisine! The food is amazing—rich flavors, perfectly spiced dishes, and a great selection to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for classic curries, flavorful tandoori, or delicious naan, they have it all. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making the experience even better. If you’re craving authentic Indian food, this place is a must-visit!

Recently I went to an Indian Restaurant in Warren, MI where they charged me $19 for a tiny bowl of fried rice and 3 small manchurian balls. When I compared that place with Punjab Indian Cuisine, then only I realized and appreciated what this place has to offer in lunch buffet. I went for a weekend buffet on a Sunday and enjoyed each and every moment. The food, the place, the atmosphere, the nativity, the customer service - everything was top notch. I was full just by eating live stations food, so didn't really get a chance to eat traditional rice and roti items, and I will have to go again to taste it.
