Great store for wedding shopping. You need to make an appointment before you go in there. The owner is very nice and helpful. I couldn't buy anything from her and she also did not make a pressure to buy anything.

We had several dresses made to order from Royal Gemz and they were great! They use good quality fabric and you can tell that the embroidery is done by hand. Yes- that does make it more delicate and i had to be very careful, even when trying the dress on.

The pieces in the boutique are unique and beautiful. SPECIFICALLY for bridal looks, if you are getting married in the DMV area I would highly recommend opting for one of their custom designs.

Their bridal designs are reasonably priced and always delivered on time. I received each gown steamed and packed nicely.

We bought a dress for a wedding at Royal Gemz for over $2,000. Upon returning home, we noticed a lot of imperfections and missing detailing. We checked the website and it stated that returns are accepted. We contacted the owner the next day after we purchased the dress. She said no refunds are allowed for items purchased in the store. There is no such language anywhere in her store or on her website. We’re now out $2,000 and need to find a new dress for next week’s wedding ASAP.

We purchased a wedding dress and upon inspecting it closely at home, realized it was missing a ton of the beads, which had come un-glued before we even bought it. When we tried to return the dress the next day, the owner refused to accept it despite the clear return policy on her website. We even offered to drive the dress back to Fairfax. Bottom line: the dresses look nice, but don’t take the bait. Poor quality and poorer ethics.

Very unfair business. Stated they accept returns but now refusing after the sale. My friend purchased a wedding dress (which cost thousands of dollars), which immediately started losing sequins after trying it on. See photos - these are pictures after one day of purchase! I’m not sure how she can deny the quality of her product and refuse a return. Buyer beware and consider taking your money elsewhere.
