Food used to be good, not anymore. Found a piece of paper/cardboard in my food (see picture). Told the staff, no one seemed to care for 30 minutes, then manager suggested it was butter paper, which is not true, again, see picture. We went with 4 adults and 2 kids (5 and 7 year old) and host tried charging us for 6 adults, had to get it corrected. Naan and water took forever to come. Wont repeat this place.

Celebrating a friend's birthday we decided to grab dinner at Sakoon (wasnt the first time , though it was after a long time that we had made it to Sakoon) in Fremont. Alex greeted us with a cheerful smile and got us to our table.

We ordered a variety of dishes, including Dal Tarka, Paneer Butter Masala, Chana Pindi, along with Garlic Naan and Tandoori Roti. The Dal Tarka was comforting and well-seasoned, with just the right balance of spices, making it a perfect start to our meal. The Paneer Butter Masala was rich and creamy, with soft paneer cubes that melted in our mouths. The Chana Pindi had a wonderful, earthy flavor, with perfectly cooked chickpeas in a spiced sauce that paired beautifully with the naan and roti. The Garlic Naan was fresh, warm, and fragrant with garlic, while the Tandoori Roti had that classic smoky flavor we all love.

As the night went on, we ended up staying later than planned, but Alex, the manager, went above and beyond to make our experience special. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome and well taken care of, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the evening.The hosts and the servers were amazing through and through and got our orders in no time.

Overall, Sakoon exceeded our expectations with both the quality of food and exceptional service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable Indian dining experience in Fremont!

This Indian restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience. The food is incredibly tasty, with rich, authentic flavors that I absolutely enjoyed. The avocado jhalmuri is a must-try—unique and bursting with flavor. The curries are made to perfection and served in decent portions. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxed meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Excellent ambient, good selection of food, including goat and fish and dessert, reasonable price, and good service. Their naan was freshly baked and tasted splendid. This chain restaurant is well known in the Bay Area for quality Indian cuisine. The line can be long sometimes.

We booked Sakoon for our kids' birthday party, and from the moment we walked in until the day of the event, the experience was exceptional. The staff [ Dia ] took care of everything with such warmth and professionalism. She was attentive, ensuring all our needs were met while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. The food was fantastic, adding even more to the wonderful experience. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our event a wonderful experience.!
