Virtual Puja Logistics?? Trying to involve both sides (India + US)

Hey everyone – has anyone here done a pre-wedding puja virtually with extended family overseas? Both our families want to be part of the rituals but we’re split across NJ + Mumbai + Chennai + Toronto 😵‍💫 We’re thinking of doing a joint puja (maybe Satyanarayan or Ganesh sthapana?) but struggling with: - Time zones (someone’s always waking up at 4am lol) - Pandit logistics—do we need one in India and one here? - Tech? Do we Zoom it? Or stream it? - And is it okay if some fam joins but doesn’t “do” the puja properly? My fiancé’s grandma insists on strict participation 😬 I’d love to hear if anyone made this work somehow—or if it’s just not worth the stress and we should do two separate ones. Thanks so much in advance 🙏🏽

lol we did this last year. my FIL was in Surat, my SIL was in London. we just picked a time that was bad for everyone so no one complained 😅 used Zoom, had the US pandit lead, & Indian side followed along. no one did it "perfect" & it was FINE. grandma drama will happen regardless 🤷‍♀️

We did a virtual Ganapathi homam with WhatsApp for the aarthi while my parents in Kerala did theirs with their own priest at the same time. It went smoothly overall—just make sure to test audio beforehand (we lost sound during sankalpam 😬). If both families are flexible, a joint one definitely work

Deff doable!! We did Satyanarayan puja from Chicago with Hyderabad fam. Had my cousin record theirs & we just played both videos side by side 😂 not “correct” per se but felt very full-circle. Don’t worry too much about matching steps—intention matters more!!
