Raman was an incredible bridal hair and makeup artist! Her trials are a bit different from what I expected—rather than doing your hair and makeup exactly as it will be on the wedding day, she gives you a “rough draft” and shows you different styles. This was helpful for seeing what suited my features best, but it can be a bit challenging if you're looking for an exact preview of how your day-of look will turn out. If you go with Raman, you'll just have to trust her and all her glowing reviews and I’m so glad I did!

For my fusion Pakistani-American wedding, I initially tried a more dramatic and traditional look at our trial, but I wasn’t feeling confident about it. I was nervous about telling her that I didn’t love the look but Raman was so so understanding and squeezed in another trial to make sure I felt my best. We ended up going with a more natural look, and I felt much more comfortable and like myself. My makeup lasted ALL day, from 9:00am to 11:00pm.

She also had two team members do hair and makeup for my mom and grandmother, and they absolutely loved both of their artists! Their looks turned out beautiful.

Getting ready with Raman was such a calming experience and the most relaxing part of the day was my morning spent with her. Exactly what I needed with all the wedding jitters. She gave great advice and made me feel so beautiful.

Where do I even start - Raman was the best HMUA a bride could ask for. From our first phone call to the trial session to the big day, Raman worked closely with me to find the right look for my skin’s needs. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in her field,she is also lovely to be around. I felt comfortable requesting subtle tweaks when needed, and I sincerely felt that my moments getting my makeup done by Raman were some of the most zen moments of the day.

Raman also works with a team of talented artists who traveled onsite to do hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and both moms. My mom in particular has never gotten her hair or makeup done and loved her artist Jessie.

In short Raman is both professional and an absolute pleasure. I looked and felt better than I could have imagined on the big day. If you have a big event and are looking for a HMUA, don’t hesitate and lock Raman down before it’s too late!

I'm so glad I worked with Raman for my engagement looks! I went to her place to get my hair and makeup done for my proposal, and then my makeup for my engagement party. For both days, I needed the look to last 12+ hours and look good in photos/video, and she did a phenomenal job! Before both events, we both worked collaboratively to come up with a look that would suit me and the outfit I had planned through Google Forms, email, and phone. Raman is so flexible, patient, and skillful in her work, and the products she uses are top quality. It's so easy to get along with her, and throughout before mornings, we chatted as if we'd known each other forever! She is genuinely so passionate about her line of work, and even if she has back-to-back appointments, she makes sure to give you the time and attention needed to fully complete your look.
