I placed a catering order for our company event and Kasa was very easy to work with. They offer a great selection of food options that can accommodate people with dietary restrictions. Colleagues really liked the food! Highly recommended!

This is our standby place where we go once or twice a month. It is much healthier tasting than a lot of other Indian restaurants. And the variety you get with the thali platter as I was great. I think they use a higher quality oil than a lot of other places. It’s a bit more like home cooking. The Chai isfantastic although it’s too much caffeine for me these days so I don’t usually get it anymore.

They do have the best chai in the city. Great atmosphere for a hang out or a date. The food is amazing and the staff is always nice. One of the best Indian restaurants in the area and would strongly recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food.

Counter serve restaurant with tablets where you place your order. From the photos on the menu and online I didn't get a sense of scale as to just how big the thali trays are. My wife and I could have easily shared one with a naan. It's almost like you get two servings of rice and the portions of curry had a ton of meat, which from my experience is unusual.

I went for the greatest hits thali. The lamb curry was super tender and the tikka masala was nice and sweet. The mound of rice and daal were also good. The garlic naan wasn't garlicy enough for me, I'd be tempted to say they gave me a plain naan by accident.

The food was out quickly which is a bonus. I'd come here regularly if I lived in San Francisco!

kasa is my go-to all time fave for indian in sf. the samosas and chai are both in best of category in my book! love love love kasa!
