About
Had lunch on a weekday. The earliest is better as first few batches of food taste the best as I understood. Many options and they taste absolutely amazing. Goat biryani was perfect, tender falls-off meat. Beef haleem was spicy but super good. Two types of chicken kebab, good. Thai vegetable egg soup was totally unexpected in this type of buffet and it tasted so good. The panipuri, chaat, dahi bora, all tasted good. Didn’t get to try gravy items with puri, will do next time. I loved the dessert “dudh dulari” combination of milk custard, semolina and fruits. Last but not least the staff was really attentive and worked hard to make sure everything running smoothly.
I came to Mezban Restaurant with friends a few times. I really like the food and price. I have been here for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is usually halfway full. I got to choose my favorite dishes, such as tandoori chicken and veggies.
The service was fast and plenty of parking.
I really wanted to like this place, but there were too many glaring problems. They had French fries - a kid friendly staple, you would think. They were grossly undercooked. My kid who eats pretty much any French fry wouldn't touch them. In the drink area, they were out of their two non fountain drinks. We were not close to closing, and I asked if they were going to refill them (one was cucumber water - not difficult!) and they took the container and never refilled it. Their lemonade also was empty and never refilled. Their soda machine was clearly malfunctioning and the slightly clogged nozzle squirted syrup everywhere. One of the main meat dishes was nothing but bones - never refilled while we were here. Several of the dishes we had were tasty but it wasn't enough to save the overall experience. The prices were higher because it was a holiday, and with things missing, it was hard to feel we got our money's worth.
My American and Mexican friends wanted to eat Pakistani food, so I took them to the Mezbaan restaurant. My friends liked the food here and the service is also very friendly. Fresh naan and puri were served on the table. My friends especially loved the gol guppe ,Halwa Puri, Biryani BBQ, and Paya loved them. Chicken sandwiches are very delicious. Also their staff is very nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

I ordered nihari and haleem for takeout, and both were absolutely delicious. The two haleem plates were a great deal at just $12.99—something you don’t often find in Houston. The packaging was well-done, preventing any spills. The dishes had a rich, authentic flavor, clearly made with homemade spices. The tandoori naans were also generously sized and complemented the meal perfectly.
