About
Please don’t order food here. We ordered Jain Noodles and got totally different things. Unfortunately we had travelled a distance before knowing this.
When we tried to contact the restaurant, they abruptly ended the call thrice.
If you want to have thrill of not knowing what you get , order from here.

Rasraj in Artesia is a gem for lovers of authentic Indian street food. Their dhokla is perfectly soft and fluffy, with just the right balance of tanginess and spice. The variety of chaats is outstanding—bursting with flavor and freshness in every bite. The freshly squeezed sugarcane juice is a refreshing treat, especially on a warm day, and their paan is the perfect way to end the meal, packed with authentic ingredients and a delightful touch of sweetness. A must-visit for anyone craving vibrant, flavorful Indian snacks!
Rasraj Artesia:
Rasrj.. Name itself claiming they are the King of Taste and the food here proves it too.
During my visit to Rasraj, I was not disappointed. Perfect blend of Taste / Masala /Spices and Indian taste. Many Indian restaurants I have tried , have changed the taste to adjust the palates of americans, but here it is not the case. Most of the dishes were close to Indian roots.
Very well prepared food. Exhaustive menu to choose from where you will get North to south and east to west Indian food / sweets and what not. Some of the dishes will remind you of India.
Many snacks you can bring it home too. They are fresh and crispy. Competitive price compared to taste. Good quality and quantity which reflects the balance. The palanpuri chevo was superb.
If you talk about the staff, they are so kind and nice to you. Politely they talk with you. You can find lots of tv in the restaurants where you can watch your favourite cricket / watch Indian Bollywood songs. Dining area is clean too. Go to place if you fond of Indian food. The thali --- a typical Indian Thali is worth trying for apart from Ala carte menu.
Vegetarian options fully.
After hearing a lot about this spot, we have this a try and it did not disappoint. The food is well prepped, the menu is extensive and priced to cater to the foodies more leaning towards Indian snacks and fast food. Some items are not their natural forte and may not be their best, but some are excellent and can be a goto place for them. Same with price and shows a bit uneven price structure compared to other restaurants near them. A definite go based on our first experience.

We ordered Khaman Dhokla, Jilebi and Rasmalai for take away. Dhokla was absolutely disappointing, it was not as spongy and raised as we expected it to be, normally Gujarati shops are expected to serve the best Dhokla but we were disappointed by Rasraj. Jalebi we found to be too sweet but still better. Rasmalai was very less in quantity, it was better. All in all - we were not satisfied by the taste. There's a lot of room for improvement.
