About
Sabri Nihari on Devon Ave is a true gem for Pakistani cuisine! We ordered Nihari, Chicken Chargha, Karahi Chicken, and Frontier Chicken**, and every dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavors. The Nihari was perfectly slow-cooked, the Chicken Chargha crispy yet juicy, the Karahi Chicken bold and fragrant, and the Frontier Chicken had just the right smoky kick.
Great food, welcoming service, and an inviting ambiance—definitely a must-visit spot in Chicago. Highly recommend!
Food was delicious. Did have to wait for around 25 mins which sucked but each minute was worth the wait.
The Mixed Grill Platter was great, especially the Kebab. Overall, the food was great. Recommend coming on the weekday, as it was quite busy at night (I went on a weekend).
There was no parking space so be aware of that.
Overall food was great.
Amazing Pakistani food. I got the garlic naan as well as 2 boneless chicken options; Karahi and Makhani. One is in a curry sauce and the other one is not (can’t remember which is which). Note that you have to order rice separately. Food portions are large, and taste is FANTASTIC!! I loved it! I don’t think you can go wrong with any option here. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone craving Indian/ Pakistani cuisine.
This was our 1st time here and we ordered the Lamb curry, Goat curry… and Chicken Biryani and it was absolutely fantastic and done to perfection. The atmosphere was very clean cozy and bright. The service by Mazhan and his crew was spot on brilliant. Very attentive to our needs. It was lovely, peaceful and delicious. Good place to family and friends… loved our experience.

If you’re craving authentic Pakistani flavors in Chicago, Sabri Nihari is a must-visit! We tried the Kadhai Gosht, Nalli Nihari, Sabri Nihari, and Mixed Grill Platter — every dish was packed with rich spices, perfectly cooked, and served fresh. The Sabri Nihari lived up to its legendary name — tender meat in a flavorful, slow-cooked gravy. The Kadhai Gosht had the perfect balance of heat and aroma, while the Mixed Grill Platter was a juicy, smoky dream for meat lovers.
The ambience was classy yet cozy, with traditional touches and a welcoming vibe. Great service and generous portions made it a complete experience. Highly recommend for desi food lovers!
