Went to Aga’s after hearing about it from my friends. First, this place is HUGE and very busy, but the wait is very minimal and they are very quick to get you seated!

Food came out extremely fast and perfectly paced after appetizer (thanks to our waiter)! We got the mango lassi, beef samosa, chicken lollipop, goat chops, goat shinwari, garlic naan and goat biriyani. I had never tried goat before but it was extremely tender and not as gamey as I expected. However, the goat chops and shinwari were really salty, making it harder to enjoy.

On the other hand, mango lassi, garlic naan, chicken lollipops and the biriyani was AMAZING! I would get those again. It’s so unique to Aga’s.

The beef samosa was okay. I definitely had better in the past. I would try another curry in the future.

Nonetheless, the best part about our visit was our waiter, Karthik. He was an AMAZING waiter! He made ordering food was easy and ensured he was available anytime we needed him! I would request for him next time if coming back! He is also very friendly!

We have been to Aga’s many times and have had a positive experience on every visit. Usually on the busy side, but they keep patrons organized and it’s well worth the wait. The restaurant is roomy and very clean. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and definitely go above and beyond for the customers. Our waiter, Shreyas was attentive and made great recommendations. The manager, Jawaid, stopped by our table to be sure we were happy and satisfied with everything. But the food! The best part is the food! We highly recommend the Chicken Anari Boti, spicy marinated tender bites of chicken. The chicken biryani is always a crowd favorite and the smell of the spices hit your palate before the first bite ever does. Our favorite today though was the Goat Shinwari Karahi. Pictured, you can see the gravy is thick and flavorful with the most delicious tender chunks of goat you’ve ever tasted. We will be back again! Houstonians know Aga’s is one of the best restaurants in the city. There is a reason there’s a wait when you arrive, but promise you it’s worth it!!

One of the best restaurants I've eaten in. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was great - the young women who host the patrons are amazing. They are attentive and frequently check on you and take care of the needs of the guests. Although the restaurant was very busy and noisy, the service was fast and efficient.

My husband loves Indian food, so he brought me here along with his sister. Personally, I find the food quite expensive. I wouldn't mind the price if the portions were generous, but personally, they aren't.

However, - their lamb chops are amazing 5/5 🌟 - His sister loves the lollipop chicken 4/5 🌟 - the biryani is ok, but the fish isn't fresh though, not sure what kind of fish they used - the butter chicken is ok.

Service is excellent, and their catering is reliable, professional, and always a hit at events. Consistently delicious food and great hospitality — highly recommended!
