About
Madras Chettinad has always has a good Indian lunch buffet. They have a choice of different appetizers, entrees, breads, desserts - vegetarian and non-vegetarian... North Indian and South Indian dishes. $16 is a very reasonable price for the buffet. You pay as soon as you enter. I get the opportunity to try out my favorite appetizers - vegetable pakoras, tandoori chicken - with mint and tamarind chutney... Chole puri, dosa, uttapam. Choice of naan, pilov, chicken and goat biryani... with choice of vegetarian, chicken and goat curries. Desserts were gulab jamun, halwa, rice pudding, mango custard and more. There is a lot of parking and on weekends it can be a long leisurely lunch option.
I was looking for an Indian buffet near me, and this one hit the spot. I’m definitely coming back again for all of the great vegetarian options, delicious chicken, and endless vegetable samosas. Tons of great options and for $16 you really can’t beat it.
What a fantastic experience. First time coming in and I was greeted very kindly. I ordered the chicken 65 and was surprised by how much I genuinely enjoyed it. Perfect ratio of spicy and savory. Plus, the lady that served me was a pleasure, very polite and courteous. My new favorite Indian restaurant, I will be returning.
Been here multiple times and one of my favorite Indian restaurants in and around Atlanta. They are the only Indian restaurant serving lunch buffet. Cost in weekdays is $15.99. It’s worth the price. Most of the dishes are good and served fresh from 11:45am onwards. Go early to grab good seat and fresh food. Chicken biriyani was delicious, chicken tandoori, and some veg dishes were delicious 😋. Curd rice with pickles were delicious too. In desert only the mango/fruit custard was good and the other deserts were bad. The senior guy in the entrance when we entered to get a seat, he was very rude and arrogant. I’m sure he must be going through something sad/bad but not to show his terrible attitude towards customers 🤦🏽♂️.

A nice Indian buffet spot with a great variety of South Indian options. The place is usually crowded, which says a lot about the food quality. Everything we tried was fresh and flavourful, worth a visit if you’re craving a good Indian buffet.
