Great atmosphere and delicious food. Nice presentation of food. Table Service is good. Only reason I gave 3 star for it because the male host was unhappy and made a face when I told him that we are a group of 9 people. He said you should have gave us a called ahead. We we visiting Chicago and it's tough to decide exactly what time you will go for dinner.

We visited for the first time and tried just a few items for dinner—it was a good experience overall. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was friendly, and the food was flavorful.

Since it was my vegetarian day, I only ordered vegetarian dishes. • The garlic naan, butter naan, and tandoori naan were all very good, especially when served hot. I recommend ordering them one at a time rather than all at once to enjoy them fresh. • The papdi chaat was fresh and tasty. • The shahi paneer was just okay—not particularly memorable.

I plan to visit again with a larger group and try the non-vegetarian dishes, especially the biryanis. I think that will give a better overall sense of the menu and help finalize the rating.

I have been to this restaurant many times. They make the best naan I have ever had, no one can beat them in the Indian breads. They are a best North Indian restaurant. I will highly suggest to only buy breads and curries, and not to get the biryanis. Even in breads, they have a huge variety of selections.

Went here for dinner with family. Was much awaited visit. Atmosphere is great and has good vibe to it. Service is ok. As far as food, quantity was alright, taste was little disappointed. Been to some other restaurants in areas and you can get better taste somewhere else if you care. This is place you can visit once, not for me anymore.

This was our first visit to Mantra, and it was also my husband’s first time trying Indian food. He was pleasantly surprised and absolutely loved it—so much so that he’s already looking forward to coming back!

The dishes are served family-style with incredibly fresh ingredients, and the flavors are outstanding. Our waitress was extremely helpful in guiding my husband, who was new to Indian cuisine, offering great recommendations to make his first experience enjoyable.

We started with the lemongrass mulligatawny soup and Punjabi samosas—both were delicious and packed with flavor. As someone who follows a plant-based diet, I was happy to find plenty of vegetarian options. I had the Baingan Bharta, a flavorful eggplant dish, paired with whole wheat tandoori roti. My husband went for the Bhutan Chicken, which had the perfect level of spice, and paired it with garlic mozzarella naan—he absolutely loved it!

Mantra offers a fantastic dining experience with fresh, flavorful food and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re new to Indian cuisine or a longtime fan, this place is definitely worth a visit. We will be back to try more dishes!🫶🏼
