Her lack of professionalism, creativity, and transparency caused significant stress, leading to a wrongful contract termination just two weeks before the wedding. Despite this, thanks to our planners and a new decor vendor, our wedding turned out absolutely incredible. Strongly advise others to avoid or at the very least think twice about hiring Prashe Decor.

My daughter got married in Cancun this past December. It was a beautiful celebration, but it almost got derailed by Prashe Decor. This review serves as a warning for future brides to think twice before hiring Prashe, particularly Naomi Guridy, whose lack of creativity, professionalism, unresponsiveness, and failure to deliver caused significant stress to our entire family. Thanks to our wedding planners’ heroic efforts, the wedding turned out significantly better than if Prashe had handled the decor as planned.

Lack of creativity and responsiveness: Prashe failed to meet expectations from the start. Despite our initial concerns, we agreed to work with Prashe because the owner assured us that she was confident they could deliver within our budget. Unfortunately, once we executed a contract in July, Naomi’s designs consistently lacked creativity and did little to elevate the decor while also significantly exceeding our agreed upon budget. When we provided Naomi with direct, critical feedback in early September, she handled it poorly and failed to give clear updates on how she planned to address our concerns. After our in-person visit in mid-September, Naomi disappeared for weeks and was totally unresponsive despite repeated follow-ups from our planners. During her absence, Prashe failed to provide updates on Naomi’s behalf or even a timeline within which we could expect to hear back. An updated design proposal (with no budget updates) was finally shared in late October—just six weeks before the wedding—which still required significant revisions. In mid-November, less than a month before the wedding, she shared a revised budget that more than doubled our original total contract value, leaving us with little room to maneuver.

Poor budget transparency: While we expected to exceed our original budget, Prashe’s lack of transparency and communication was appalling. The cost increases were staggering, with inflated charges for labor, transportation, and taxes—many of which had been absent from the original proposal and was never communicated to us as the design evolved. Instead, we were pressured to pay at the last minute without meaningful explanation or a chance to review the budget live as Naomi went on vacation the day after sharing it with us.

Wrongful contract termination: The last straw came just two weeks before the wedding, when Naomi suddenly and unilaterally terminated the contract without notifying us directly or offering a compromise, while retaining the 25% deposit we had paid. This was done with malicious intent to back us into a corner and jeopardize the wedding. It would have been better if Prashe had declined to take us on as clients from the start rather than over-promising and under-delivering to secure the business. In sharp contrast, the replacement vendor executed superbly within our budget in just two weeks!

While the wedding ultimately turned out beautifully, the emotional and financial toll caused by Prashe Decor and Naomi cannot be overstated. Brides deserve vendors who are transparent, reliable, and deliver on their promises—qualities Prashe Decor entirely lacks. We are exploring legal options to address the damage caused by this ordeal and strongly advise anyone considering this company to proceed with extreme caution

We are absolutely in awe of what Selina and Prashe Décor created for our wedding—it was nothing short of magical! From the very first consultation, we knew we had found someone truly special who could bring our vision to life, but what Selina delivered far exceeded our expectations a thousand fold.

We wanted an enchanted forest theme for our wedding, and Selina brought that dream into reality in the most breathtaking way possible. Every corner of the venue was transformed into a wonderland, complete with lush greenery, fairy lights, intricate florals, and whimsical touches that made us feel like we had stepped into another world. It was as though we had been transported into the heart of a forest, yet all indoors!

I probably can’t even accurately express the transformation of the venue since there was so much going on, but the artistry and creativity that went into every detail was truly remarkable. From towering trees wrapped in floral arrangements that seemed to grow organically from the tables to an Elephant and dragon work-of-art to catch guest’s eyes, and a Mandap stage any bride would weep at due to its beauty and thoughtfulness, everything was thoughtfully designed to create an atmosphere of enchantment. The centerpieces were visual masterpieces, each one unique and filled with lush blooms and natural elements that felt both elegant and magical. Even our seating chart board was a masterpiece that brought in elements unique to us as a couple, while adhering to the wedding motif and adding yet another element to the enchantment of the night to stun our guests! We were further stunned by the way Selina used light to add depth and warmth, casting a soft glow across the room that made everything feel ethereal.

What truly amazed us was how seamlessly everything came together. The decor wasn't just beautiful—it was a cohesive experience that set the tone for the entire evening, making our wedding feel like a fairytale come true. Our guests were absolutely floored, with many of them saying it was the most stunning wedding they had ever attended; a wedding of a lifetime to be able to attend. People couldn’t stop talking about how immersive and dazzling the design was. We were completely blown away by how Selina managed to make the theme feel elegant, sophisticated, and refined, while still capturing that magical, whimsical essence we hoped for.

From the moment we entered the venue to the very last dance, the space felt like something out of a dream. Selina’s work didn’t just set the stage—it created an unforgettable experience for us and our guests, one that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

If you are looking for someone who can turn your wildest dreams into a reality with unparalleled creativity and artistry, we cannot recommend Selina and Prashe Décor enough. From the very first conversation, Alina was amazing to work with. She was always responsive, easy to get a hold of and timely on all of our requests. And - bonus - she was super fun to work with! I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and Alina only added to my vision with her design expertise. On the day of, everything went off without a hitch. The team was super professional and executed flawlessly. We even had a room flip between our ceremony and reception (while our guests were at cocktail hour) and everything was handled smoothly. The guests didn't even notice the team moving decor from one floor to another, which was great for the vibe and flow of our event.

Even now, one month after our wedding, friends and family still comment on how beautiful our decor was. I'm SO happy I used Prashe, it was everything I could have wanted.

Throughout the wedding planning journey, I felt like Alina was curating every detail for MY wedding not just another wedding in her portfolio. Working with Alina felt like I was working with a close friend who understood what I wanted, made honest suggestions, and executed as if it were her own wedding events. There were so many decor details in my mehndi and reception that many of my guests picked up on and absolutely raved about. Alina also worked so well with my venue team, day of coordinator, and other vendors to ensure everyone was collaborating to make our collective vision come to life... I mean who does all that?! I could go on forever about Alina and the Prashe team but to sum it up, if you want dependable quality work with a lot of genuine care and support, work with Alina!!!
