We had a great experience at Akarashan, with very short notice, attending a traditional Indian-style wedding. Harminder helped my wife and I immensely to pick some outfits that look great together!

My friend recommended this place to me and couldn’t be more pleased with the lehenga I walked out with! Really friendly staff and great turn around. I also needed to get it fit and they sent it to get hemmed for me. Would definitely come again, amazing selection and great quality

Very disappointed in the experience we had here. The lady measured me (am an adult size S), but brought out options that are adult size XL or child sizes which obviously did not fit me. In middle of me changing, she said she had to leave and because her husband isn’t there, we were told to leave even though it was during their business hours. Very surprised on the bad service. If she could not provide us service, she should have told us beforehand, instead of kicking us out after 20 mins when I was still changing. There are no price indicated, and they are overpriced. Better to go visit somewhere else.

TOTAL SCAM! They charge 10 times the money and in the name of alterations they take it for a week and just made it hell worse. Then the owner just argues that thats how it is done and was incredibly rude. They said take it to someone else who can tailor it for you. Rubbish service! I wouldn't recommend buying anything from here.

Nirmia, Bimli, and Harminder took excellent care of two clueless people who needed clothes for a wedding. Google indicated that this is a women's clothing store but they have men's clothes and shoes as well. They took our measurements for tailoring and we'll be back to pick them up in a week or so. My husband said he's never had a pair of pants so comfortable!! I plan to get some jewelry once I go back to pick up the tailored outfits.
